Would you like to make a difference by making a lasting contribution to the Sun River Valley Historical Society? It’s easy to do, and will take effect after your passing and not cost a thing during your lifetime.

Wills and Bequests:

Just as have other organizations*- we’ve benefited from former donors and others who are taking measures to preserve the future well-being of our Society by including SRVHS in their estate planning.

Payable on Death (POD):

This is easy and a great way to leave assets to SRVHS.  All you need to do is designate PODs on cd’s, bank accounts, bonds and annuities to the Sun River Valley Historical Society.

Life Insurance Policy or Retirement Account:

Just name Sun River Historical Society as beneficiary for all or a percentage of your Life Insurance or Retirement Account.

Gift of Stock:.

Giving stock as a donation can be of benefit to our Society. If the stock or security that you are donating to SRVHS has increased in value since time of purchase, you may avoid paying the capital gains tax.  The total value may be deductible.

Company or Philanthropic Matching Gift:

Matching gift programs, set up to encourage employees or individual donors to make contributions to non-profit organizations, can sometimes result in double or triple benefit.

If you are interested in any of the above, have your accountant, broker, financial planner, or agent call Burnette at 406-965-3025; or Dianne at 406-264-5942.
